    Inspired by the old science fiction movies, Cartoon Heroes remains as Aqua's most ambitious videoclip. When it was shot, it was considered one of the most expensive videoclips in history, with a budget of 3,5 million dollars.

    In the video, Aqua play the role of a space patrol. They are called to save the Earth from a menacing octopuss which has already destroyed various cities. They finally manage to kill the monster with the help of their Aquarius submarine.

  • Facts:
    • Cities destroyed by the octopuss include: Moscow, Berlin, Copenhagen, Paris, New York.
    • Only one half of the Aquarius submarine was built.
    • René Dif buys the Playalien magazine at the space store. Søren is reading it at the end.
    • Lene uses an Aquacard credit card to pay in the store.
    • The aliens were played by children.
    • There exist two official versions of this video: one with a long intro, and one starting just where the song starts to play and the four Aqua members finally wake up.
    • It's Aqua's most expensive video (budget of 3,5 million dollars).
