Despite the mixed results of previous efforts, Lene keeps trying luck with her actress career. This time, she will play the role of Karin in the upcoming movie Varg Veum II: Skriften på veggen (The writing on the wall), directed by Stefan Faldbakken.

The production is based in a book of the Varg Veum series, popular crime novels written by the norwegian Gunnar Staalesen.

In Skriften på veggen, Lene's character Karin is the smart and independent girlfriend of the private detective Varg Veum. They're planning to move together and looking for an apartment. If everything goes as planned, Karin will appear in six movies of the Varg Veum series.

Skriften på veggen will premiere in cinemas in Norway on the 27th of August, 2010.
