AQUA - LOLLIPOP (CANDYMAN)

Overview: Because of the lawsuit of Mattel, Universal Music had to delete Barbie Girl from USA and Canada. They rushed to release Lollipop (Candyman) on November 1997, with the help of a new video to promote it. The song had a moderate success on american charts (reaching #23). In Australia, Lollipop (Candyman) followed the success of Doctor Jones at the beginning of 1998. In Japan, the song was a double A-Side with Doctor Jones. On June 1998, Lollipop (Candyman) was also released in France and Sweden with discrete results. This is one of the least succesful Aqua singles, and also featured the poorest tracklists in all its CD releases.
